This Sunday is a DON’T MISS Sunday at Bayside West. Our very own Youth will be leading the entire service on Sunday. We have Youth Greeters and Youth Ushers, Paul Spangler, Director of Youth Ministries speaking, and the Youth Band leading us in Worship. God is up to something among our student ministry.

Summertime is finally here and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate the beginning of the season.  Besides, the weather isn’t supposed to be summery until Monday. So, invite a friend and be at Bayside West THIS SUNDAY, May 26^th at with 9:15am or 11:00am.

Father God, we hope for what we do not see. We wait with perseverance, knowing You are with us, making intercession for us according to the will of God. We claim a place of fruitfulness. We claim Your favor and Your blessings. We thank you for our testing because we know each test brings us an upgrade.

Psalm 91: 1–2: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress, my God in whom I trust.

Prayer: We place our faith in You our God. You are our security -­‐ so we do not have to live in fear.

Psalm 46: 1: God is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear…

Prayer: You know our problems and our fears. We will not doubt that You do what You say You do.

Matthew 21: 22: And, whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.

Prayer: We believe together in the power of prayer. We pray today for those who are suffering – asking for Your comfort and Your solutions -­‐ according to Your will and purposes.

Philippians 4: 6: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Prayer: We ask You to help those we pray for to see their present circumstances through the eyes of Your promises. May they recognize their suffering is temporary and ask for Your strength to help them endure.

Romans 5: 3 – 5: …but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance, and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

Prayer: We ask for your strength for our brothers and sisters who will witness to many in this time of crisis. May those they minister to receive the hope You have promised them, so they can grow stronger in this time of crisis. May they be open to receive the love the Holy Spirit desires to lavish on them.

Psalm 30: 5: …His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

Prayer: Help those we pray for recognize the gift of Your favor – especially during this time of hopelessness and despair. May they be open to receive God’s love which is eternal, and may they find joy instead of suffering, hope instead of hopelessness, peace instead of fear and the ability to persevere and overcome.

Psalm 9: 9: The Lord also will be a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble;

Prayer: Help those who struggle see You as their stronghold in times of trouble. May they turn to You in these difficult days, and be open to receive Your loving concern for them.

Isaiah 58: 10: If you extend your soul to the hungry and satisfy the afflicted soul, then your light shall dawn in the darkness, and your darkness shall be as noonday.

Prayer: We pray for all the workers that are serving in Oklahoma City. Help them to be used in practical ways so they can be an expression of Your Godly love to those they meet.

Psalm 121: 1 – 4: I will lift my eyes to the mountains; from where shall my help come? My help comes from the Lord, who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to slip; He who keeps you will not slumber.

Prayer: May all who are suffering turn to You for help. May they see You are the answer to their problems and the fulfillment of their needs.

Psalm 50: 15: Call upon Me in the day of trouble; l will deliver you, and you shall glorify Me.

Prayer: You are a God of love who speaks gently to those who suffer. May those we pray for be delivered from their suffering and may You be glorified in the process. Please use the self-­‐sacrificing work of our people to make this come alive to those who do not yet know You. We praise You and acknowledge our dependence on You.

Psalm 84: 5 – 6: How blessed is the man who strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion! Passing through the valley of Baca they make it a spring.

Prayer: We weep for those who are suffering. We also recognize this as temporary because You are with them -­‐ leading them to a place of refreshment where they will find new life. We thank You Jesus that You travel this road with them, showering them with love and showing them Your amazing truths along the way.

Bloom is a support group for women living with chronic illness and disease.  We provide a safe place for women to share their daily struggles and offer spiritual, emotional, and practical support aimed at encouraging those living with these debilitating diseases to live rich and joyful lives in spite of their physical limitations.  RSVP to Jen Williams at Bloom@baysidewest.com.  Childcare available for children 0-5 years of age for $6.00/family
